Wargaming rolls out to CeBIT!

Are you a fan of professional gaming and tanks? Do you get a nice chill going down your spine when tanks go up in flames? If yes, this probably means that you’re into World of Tanks and so you should know that on the 8th and 9th March there is an event you can’t miss! We would like to invite you and your friends to the Intel Extreme Masters finals taking place on CeBIT in Hanover, Germany.

It doesn’t matter if you prefer to watch the tournament live or on the livestream.  Whichever you choose, you will be able to watch the top World of Tanks gurus from the Balkans, Finland and Poland clashing in epic battles for big cash prizes!

Interested? You should be… After all, the total prize pool of the Wargaming.net League is 2.5 million dollars!

Did I read that right? Show me the money!

The teams participating in the tournament are not only fighting for the Intel Extreme Masters Champion title, they have also qualified for the huge Wargaming.net League. This means that this time the stakes are higher than ever. The contestants are going to fight for the IEM money prizes worth a total of 10,000 Euros.  However, no matter how well they score, as they managed to get to the IEM finals they are also automatically placed into the World of Tanks Pro League. This new League is really something! If the title of the best World of Tanks best team in Europe is not enough for you, there are 2.5 million other reasons why you should join the fight!

Join? Somebody is already fighting for the money? Who are the lucky ones?

This Polish team was the first one to qualify for the League in Europe. They made it through the first CeBIT online qualifier, and have managed to make a name for themselves already, along with other 1SBP teams. This team even managed to beat Evil Panda Squad, who were the big stars of the last Intel Extreme Masters, as well as Lemming Train on their road through the qualifier, so we expect that they will put on a great show in Hanover. Will they manage to beat Lemming Train once again? Don’t miss the show and you’ll know.

This Finnish team managed to qualify for this Intel Extreme Masters final through the Go4WoT qualifying round. During Go4WoT 97 they managed to achieve fourth place, making them the best of all the European teams participating, and thus they got the spot! Congratulations, well played! Do not underestimate this team, they were among the best in the A-Series tournament and they managed to win against the Lemming Train in Katowice during the last Intel Extreme Masters 2:0.

This second Polish team managed to qualify in the second CeBIT online qualifier. Their road to the finals was exciting, and included fights against several well-known teams such as Quo Vadis, Evil Panda Squad and Alpha! Thanks to their dedication and hard earned skills they managed to lose only two rounds in two separate matches at the very end of the qualifier and eventually get to the finals. Good job!

The last online qualifier for these finals was a rough one and the Balkan team managed to prove once again that they really want to try their strength in the Intel Extreme Masters. Kazna Kru is one of the intriguing all-round amazing teams who manage to qualify for almost every tournament final they take part in (both ESL and Wargaming tournaments), but rarely manage to score any top places. With a bit of luck, this time they will manage to get to the top!

I want to join the crowd in Hanover!
