November eSports Cups: Mangled Metal and Easy 8

Would you like team play and efficiency in competitive games?  What happens if don’t have the time or the amount of friends to jump into Clan Wars? Well, here at Wargaming we keep thinking of new ways to offer different gameplays and play modes to cover all our player’s needs and expectations.

Besides the World of Tanks game modes that’s in place i.e. standard, assault and encounter modes, its random battles, Tank Companies and Clan Wars, World of Tanks is also a great game to make the jump into eSports.

These competitions are oriented to those players who wish to step up to the next level in World of Tanks. Last month you and your comrades could participate in Super 6 and Fun Cup championships. This month is Mangled Metal and Easy 8 Cups turn. Registrations are now open!

 

Mangled Metal

Short description

The Mangled Metal Cup has no maximum tier limitation on any tank! Teams can be up to 14 members. There is a minimum total tier point rule of 70, this means there can be less than 14 players in the team but the total combined tier points of their tanks cannot drop below 70.

Open until 19th November, at 19:00 CET. Sign in!

Playdays

Matches will be played on the 21st and 28th of November and the final on the 5th of December, always between 19:00 – 22:00 CET.

Prizes

  • The top 16 teams will receive a gold prize and the top 4 will win the Mangled Metal quarter of the coveted “EU All Star” medal.
  • Gold Prize Allocation (per player):
    • 1st place team: 8000
    • 2nd place team: 6000
    • 3rd place teams (2): 4000
    • 4th place teams (4): 2500 
    • 5th place teams (8): 1500 

 

Easy 8

Short description

Easy 8 is a tournament which follows the "official" eSports rules for World of Tanks. 7 on 7, tier VIII limit, and total tierpoints: 42.

Registration 

Open until 15th November, at 18:00 CET. Sign in!

Playdays

Matches will be played on the 17th and 24th of November, and the final,  the 1st of December, always starting at 18:00 CET. 

Prizes

  • The top 16 teams will receive a gold prize and the top 4 will win the Easy 8 quarter of the coveted “EU All Star” medal.
  • Gold Prize Allocation (per player):
    • 1st place team: 8000
    • 2nd place team: 6000
    • 3rd place teams (2): 4000
    • 4th place teams (4): 2500 
    • 5th place teams (8): 1500
