Interviews with our World of Tanks Pro League teams at IEM Hanover!

The first day of the Intel Extreme Masters taking place in Hanover is over and we’ve been able to interview the four teams taking part. We have asked them all the same set of questions to get to know them a little bit better and find out about their motivation. You will see that all of our contestants are very confident in their chances of winning this contest and they are all eager to bring home the tournament trophy. So without further ado, let’s introduce you to the best of the best!

SPALE

Are you happy with your team’s performance?

The first game we had was not too good. We could have done better. Because our 50-100’s were too far away, they got a very hard beating. Later on it was far better!

We got lucky in the last game. It was really cool and we won with style!

How good were the opposing teams?

It’s all because of lag! *laugh* On a more serious note, all our opponents played really, really well!

What do you think about the upcoming games? What are your chances of winning?

We will win. These games were only a warm-up, training. All others claiming they will win are obviously mistaken! After all, we are ranked really high in Go4WoT. Also we’re ranked  11th in the overall ranking!

Kazna Kru

Are you happy with your team’s performance?

In our first game we rushed far too much. After that we just adapted and won the two other games, thanks to which we won the first match.
The games were much more challenging against SPALE than against 1SBP, partially because 1SBP were one player short and had to use a substitute. However, both of the teams did really well. We closed the games out really nicely and eventually won a lot of battles.

How good were the opposing teams?

As I said before, 1SBP were missing one player and thus they didn’t manage to play their game to the expected level. However, they did really well. All the other opponents were a real challenge and if we hadn’t fought as hard as we did, we wouldn’t have won as many games.

What do you think about the upcoming games? What are your chances of winning?

Whatever will be, will be. We will see tomorrow and just play along. It’s bad to overthink at this moment.

Have you got anything to add?

I hope the problems with latency we had at some moments will disappear. Lag is fair, because it affects everyone the same, but still, it can be a little bit irritating at some moments, especially when it spikes.

1SBP Zawisza

Are you happy with your t team’s performance?

We did really well, especially considering that there were just six of us. We are treating the first day mostly as a warm-up before tomorrow. Then we will have our full team, so the other guys better watch out! We didn’t really play our best, but we put up a fight, we never gave up.
How good were the opposing teams?
Lemming Train were extremely good, we hope to beat them in the finals. We actually met Kazna Kru for the first time on the battlefield. We never fought against them before and thus they are still a bit of a mystery to us. Because of that we were especially cautions with them.
The last round in our first match was particularly intense, it was a great game!

What do you think about the upcoming games? What are your chances of winning?

We will go in with all we’ve got and we hope to win. You will not be disappointed!

Have you got anything to add?

We are happy to be here and everything is great!

Lemming Train

Are you happy with your team’s performance?

During the tournament we played our offensive game. After, we got the advantage in the first round so we just kept on pushing and didn’t stop! In the other matches we also did the best we could and well, it did bring good results!

How good were the opposing teams?

They all played really well, unsurprisingly so though since they are the best ones out there. We did manage to get some payback for the WCG finals where we experienced a close defeat.

What do you think about the upcoming games? What are your chances of winning?

We want to make as few mistakes as possible. So let the best one win!
