Intel Extreme Masters – Meet the Teams, Part 1

We know that many of you would like to get to know the World of Tanks Intel Extreme Masters finalists, so here is a chance to learn all about the amazing eight teams who will fight for the title of IEM Champion.

Some of the teams are already well known from competitions such as the WCG, ESL EMS and others. The Red Tide, Odem Mortis, Lemming Train, Evil Panda Squad, Kazna Kru, 1st PAD eXpendables, SPALE, 1SBP Ulanska Fantazja are all well known and feared by eSports fans. Some of them are even known by casual World of Tanks players for their epic achievements.

It does not matter if you know them or not, you can trust us that when these guys are facing challenges considered impossible by most, their only problem is countless enemy wrecks piling up too fast to chase the remaining survivors who are fleeing the battlefield.

In this article we would like to present to you the first four teams taking part in the Intel Extreme Masters finals.

Odem Mortis

This German team is one of the best-known World of Tanks groups, which, amongst countless other achievements, managed to get into the World Cyber Games final as one of the teams representing Europe in that competition. They were also one of the EU favourites during the Ural Steel championship.

If you want to get to know more about this team, you are welcome to read the ESL interview.

1SBP Ulanska Fantazja

This Polish team comes from the 1SBP group, which has been scoring big during the past month. It is the first of the four Polish teams taking part in the Intel Extreme Masters finals. Although Ulanska Fantazja are not as well-known as Odem Mortis, we are sure that they will not let us down during the IEM!

If you want to get to know more about this team, you are welcome to read the ESL interview.

SPALE

This team is already known for being the representative of the north of Europe. They managed to get far in the EMS Winter Season 2012 and hope that they will put up a fight in Katowice. After all, the cold climate will suit them best out of all the participating teams!

If you want to get to know more about this team, you are welcome to read the ESL interview.

1st PAD eXpendables

This Polish team is the second of the four Polish teams taking part in the Intel Extreme Masters finals. The eXpendables have proven quite a few times that they are far from expendable and that they can really rock the house. Just like Odem Mortis, this team has been representing the EU server during the Ural Steel championship. They are regular and feared players during other contests organised by Wargaming and ESL.
