The Grand Finals 2016: The Prime Contests Winners!

The results of the portal contests are here! First of all, we would like to extend our most sincere and heartfelt thanks and congratulations to everyone who put their time and efforts into the contests. There were so many excellent submissions that the final choice was extremely difficult to make!

Without further ado, let's announce the winners, who will soon receive some quality Razer hardware, a hefty amount of gold, and the chance to parade in the game with the coveted type 59!

The winners will be contacted individually via forum messaging in the days to come.

The Video Contest : The First Step to Winning an Oscar!

For this contest, we asked you to create a 30 second-long video trailer to promote the Grand Finals team of your choice. The two European teams were Wombats on Tanks and Tornado Rox, and they, unsurprisingly, gathered the most submissions. The teams from the other regions (Eclipse, SIMP, EL Gaming, GOLD BASS, Na'VI, NSS, YaTo) also received their fair share of support, and we accepted the submissions for all the Wild Card teams as well, even though they were only announced after the deadline for the contest had passed... Lucky guesses!

Only the videos that respected the rules were considered: the videos had to be 30 seconds long (we accepted +/- 3 seconds, but no longer), they had to mention the correct date, name of the event, venue, and clearly indicate the chosen team. The videos submitted after the deadline were not taken into consideration.

The Paper Tank Contest. Handiwork!

For this contest, you were asked to create a papertank and decorate it with the colours of the Grand Finals team of your choice. Wombats on Tanks and Tornado Rox, gathered the most submissions. The teams from the other regions (Eclipse, SIMP, EL Gaming, GOLD BASS, Na'VI, NSS, YaTo) also received some submissions, and we accepted the submissions for all the Wild Card teams as well, even though they were only announced after the deadline for the contest had passed... Lucky guesses!
