In the 486 series, all the participants are sorted into groups of 10 and no matter what happens you play against everyone in your group. In other words, losing the first game is not necessarily a deal-breaker - you can still aim high in the competition.
Thanks to the group division, you do not have to be a Gold Series player to stand a chance. You do not have to dominate the whole tree and defeat all the other teams one by one. The competition gives everyone a fair chance... you just have to claim yours.
The 486 series consists of three independent tournaments, each played on a different Tier, on a different day. You can register to one, two, or all three tournaments. If you only want to play in the Tier VI tournament for example, it's entirely up to you!
In the 486 series, all the participating teams will be sorted into groups of 10 teams. It is a round-robin tournament: each team plays against the nine other teams in their group and a ranking is then made in each group.
