Tanker’s Soul. UPDATE 30/5

Having taken into consideration the players’ feedback about the contests being aimed at those who possess advanced computer skills, WOT development team have decided to organize one that would satisfy those who can’t boast their knowledge of Photoshop, Moviemaker and other specific software.

Thus we offer you a chance to blow your own trumpet using your creative thinking, the ability to rhyme sentences and the desire to depict your combat experience.

A poetic text dedicated to your best battle within World of Tanks can be executed in a Shakespeare-sonnet or Dante’s “Divine Comedy” tercet style. If you agree with those poets who believe that “the rhyme spoils poetry”, astound us with your blank verse. What matters most is that your poetic dedication should be captivating and emotional. And remember that the sense of humour is warmly welcome.

You have two weeks to come up with something really outstanding as the contest starts with this announcement’s publication and finishes on May 28th at 23:59 UTC. The poems are to be posted on forums.

The best verse will earn the author 6,000 gold. The poet with the second best tank-poem will receive 4,000 gold. Finally the third worthy poetic text will bring 2,000 gold to its author’s treasury.
