It is well known that brothers in arms forge their strongest bonds in battle, and that true satisfaction in victory comes only from the fiercest competition. Soon the clans will again fight to see who is the mightiest in World of Tanks, as well as for unique medals, gold and a special tank.
A Clan Wars event is coming – be ready for World on Fire!
Rules of Combat and Maps
The World on Fire event for Clan Wars will begin on 13 May. At launch, two Global Maps will be available, each with its own rules. You will be able to win unique medals and Victory Points during the event!
The first Global Map will have the following rules:
- Maximum tier restrictions will be different for each region:
- Northern Europe region: Tier X
- Mediterranean region: Tier VIII
- West Africa region: Tier VI
- Tank locking disabled
- Fog of war enabled
- Spies/Counter-spies enabled
- Ransacking enabled
- Revolts enabled
- Subversions disabled
- Province income: standard
- Landing zones: standard
- Landing application limit: 64
The first Global Map will have different rules for Clan Wars in each region and tank locking will be deactivated, while the second map (the World on Fire Map) will host the battles for the event.The World on Fire Map will be launched on 5 May. The first day will be the day for “World Redivision” and until the event starts it will work in test mode, using the default rules of Clan Wars.
The World on Fire Map will then be wiped for the 13 of May:
- All actions made by players will be cancelled.
- Any income from ransacked provinces will be restored.
- All chips on the World on Fire map will become available for the first turn of the event.
- The game event, World on Fire, will then start with “World Redivision” of the World on Fire Map.
From the moment that the World on Fire Map becomes available until the moment the event closes, clans will be able to change map at any moment or leave the map.
In the event clans will also have the opportunity to battle against the Wargaming.net clan, which will defend the Central England region from the time of World Redivision on 13 May.
The World on Fire event will run for 12 days until Sunday 25 May at 11:00 CEST (UTC+2). Any vehicles up to a maximum of Tier VIII will be allowed.
The main goal is to battle for territories in conditions with an increased probability of revolts. By playing in the event, clans can earn Victory Points and players can earn Fame Points.
What you’ll be fighting for
The top 20 Clans with the highest number of Victory Points will receive gold in their clan treasury as detailed below:
- 1st place – 300,000
- 2nd place – 200,000
- 3rd place – 100,000
- 4th-6th place – 80,000
- 7th-10th place – 60,000
- 11th-15th place – 40,000
- 16th-20th place – 20,000
As part of the event, the following unique medals can be won:
The clan with the highest number of Victory Points from the World on Fire event will receive the Eternal Flame, First Class. | |
The clan with the second highest number of Victory Points will receive the Eternal Flame, Second Class. | |
The clan with the third highest number of Victory Points will receive the Eternal Flame, Third Class. | |
The Fire Warrior medal will be awarded to players who win 5 or more battles during the World on Fire event. | |
The Fire Storm medal will be awarded to all members of the clan that wins the most battles during the World on Fire event. If two or more clans have the highest number of wins, the medal will go to the members of all of those clans. With this medal, the clan or clans will also receive 100,000 in their clan treasury. | |
All members of a clan that manages to conquer 2 or more revolting provinces will be awarded the Rising Flame medal. | |
The Raging Inferno medal will be awarded to all members of the clan that manages to conquer the highest number of revolting provinces during the World on Fire event. With this medal, the clan will also receive 100,000 in its clan treasury. | |
All players of the clan that manages to defend two or more revolting provinces, will be awarded the Fire Tamer medal. | |
The Firefighter medal will be awarded to all members of the clan that defends the highest number of revolting provinces during the World on Fire event. With this medal, the clan will also receive 100,000 in its clan treasury. | |
The Marked by Fire achievement will be awarded to all players who take part in at least 3 battles during the World on Fire event. |
Active players who take part in battles will earn Fame Points and have the chance to win a special prize – the T23E3, a Tier VII American medium tank. This vehicle will be awarded to the 6,000 players with the highest number of Fame Points at the end of the World on Fire event.
