Commanders,
With Update 9.6, the Strongholds game mode will be supplemented with two new buildings, each capable of producing special clan battle Reserves, which can be used directly in battles.
The Artillery Battalion produces the Artillery Strike reserve, the use of which is controlled by the Commander. Once initiated, one map square will be covered by dense artillery fire of high-explosive shells.
Artillery Strike is similar to SPG shots. The shells come from the base side with a 45 degree angle, causing damage as identical default ammunition from SPG arsenal.
The number of shells, their power, and explosion area, depend on the level of the building in which the Reserve was produced.
This building produces the Airstrike Reserve that allows the Commander to call Il-2 attack aircraft, which will strike the indicated area with cumulative anti-tank bombs.
The bombs used in this type of Reserve are different from those in Artillery Strike. The aircraft approaches the target, drops bombs vertically at an angle of 90 degrees, aiming to hit the vulnerable top of the tank armour. In addition, the vertical angle of the drop allows the bombs to hit enemy vehicles hidden behind buildings or other forms of cover.
The bombs’ damage and their number depend on the level of the building in which the Reserve was produced.
You can use both Reserves once during the battle.
The command to initiate the Reserve can be given by the team’s Commander - the first player who entered battle room. The Commander role may also be reassigned in the room. After the Commander's tank is destroyed in battle, no Reserves can be deployed.
The Commander must add Reserves to the battle room before the battle starts.
