Do you remember our End of Year Contest in which we asked you to show us your best performance in game? Many magnificent prizes were up for grabs, including an expenses-paid trip to Tiger Day at the Bovington Tank Museum in the UK.
The Tank Museum has the only functioning Tiger I tank in the world, and this legendary vehicle was the centre of attention for the whole day! Our lucky contest winners joined members of the community team and our military specialist Richard “The_Challenger” Cutland to get up close and personal with this amazing tank.
In our new video you can see what they got up to! Fear not, there is also plenty of footage of amazing tanks getting it down in the mud. Go check it out!
If you want to see even more tanks in action, here’s another video from Tiger Day showing plenty more vehicles up close and personal!
We have additional news to share regarding the Bovington Tank Museum. We are pleased to announce that Wargaming.net have sponsored an education centre at the museum to provide a link to schools and teachers both from the UK and from overseas. The new education centre will be formally opened with the unveiling of a plaque by Wargaming CEO Victor Kislyi at Tankfest in June. For more updates on this story, keep an eye on The Challenger’s Facebook page!
Keep an eye out for more contests in the future, commanders!
