Arcade Cabinet
A new game mode, Neon Dash, has been added—a high-speed race where players compete to reach the finish line.

Map Changes
Airfield
The map has been completely reworked while maintaining the essence of the original Airfield. The central and southern areas have been redesigned to reduce the number of ambush positions and introduce new gameplay dynamics for medium and heavy tanks. Additionally, the red line has been shifted one square lower, increasing the map's playable area.
- The primary route for maneuverable vehicles spans the F–J lines, featuring a range of hull-down and side-scraping positions at various distances and allowing for diverse tactical gameplay.
- A new heavy tank route along the central C–E lines introduces two distinct sub-directions: a cave and an adjacent hillock.
- Distant SPG positions have been introduced in the corners of the map and at E2 and E9 to control enemy advances, provide limited base control, and help deter aggressive attacks.
- Additional opportunities for fast vehicles have been introduced along the map's central vertical axis (the A–B lines and 5–6 verticals).
Ensk Region
The long-awaited expansion of Ensk has arrived, increasing the playable area from 600x600 meters to 1000x1000 meters for more varied gameplay. The redesigned "green" introduces new tactical options for medium and light tanks, while wider spacing between city streets improves maneuverability and strategic versatility. The expanded Ensk Region is available for battles in Tier VIII–X vehicles, while the original Ensk map remains available for Tiers I–VII.
- A new hill (squares E8–G8, E9–G9) with abandoned buildings serves as the key strategic point in the expanded green area, providing optimal positions for medium and light tanks. A small island (squares E0–G0) located along the river provides opportunities for stealthy maneuvers, but requires careful navigation.
- The expanded green direction now includes additional positions (squares C7 and H7) designed specifically for containing aggressive enemy breakthroughs.
- Train density in the center of the map has been reduced to facilitate easier flank transitions.
- The main engagement areas for heavy tanks in the city have been improved, wiht diverse positions added and distances increased to minimize rapid clashes and synchronize gameplay with other flanks.
- New strategic flanking and defensive positions behind the bases near the map's edges have been added.
Paris
The northern area of Paris has been rebalanced to improve combat effectiveness for medium tanks, light tanks, and SPGs. New positions have been introduced for long-range shooting and closer melee combat, enhancing tactical depth in the central part of the northbound area.
- The landscape near the stairs (squares D4–7) has been changed, with new cover added and additional entrances to the upper level. Extra cover has also been added on the upper platform.
- The central area near the fountain has been completely reworked, with new cover and terrain variations designed to encourage dynamic gameplay across all vehicle classes.
- Intermediate cover such as hills in D4 and D7 has been improved. These positions are useful for moving along the north side of the map toward the central area.
Mines
Minor changes have been made to improve map balance. It is now more difficult for vehicles from the southern team to fire from the island (squares H1–2) toward the central hill. Heavy tanks from the northern team now have a new position in E3, allowing for better interaction with the water direction.
- A new position has been introduced for the northern team, enabling effective fire toward the small island (squares H1–2), which is often occupied by the southern team.
- The bush position on the island (squares H1–2) has been weakened, making it harder to shoot at the main heavy tank battle point near the hill ascent.
WoT Plus
The Crew Assistant feature is now available, offering information on the most popular perks for different crew members in each vehicle. It sorts perks from the most commonly used to the least commonly used, and is available for both major and additional qualifications.
Onslaught
Main Changes:
- The Season of the Jade Manticore has been added.
- The Stinger Tier X American heavy tank with unique crew has been added.
- The 3D styles "Silver Spikes", "Golden Claws", "Champion's Wings", and "Legendary Creature" have been added.
New Content for the Season of the Jade Manticore:
- Progressive Hybrid Beast (Jade) style with a new set of decals, emblems, inscriptions, and camouflage patterns.
- Dog Tag Backgrounds: Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Champion, and Legend.
- Legacy of the Hunt nickname stripe.
- Badges: Warden of Claws, Predator's Grace.
- Medal: Feral Sigil.
- Rental vehicles: Type 71 7x7, Bat.-Châtillon 25 t 7x7, Object 268 7x7.
Role Skills:
- Bounty Hunter:
- The bonus to reloading for each enemy vehicle damaged has been increased from 3% to 4%.
- Sleight of Hand:
- The reduction to reload time has been decreased from 30/42.5/55 to 30/40/50%.
- Clean Shot:
- The skill's duration has been increased from 15 to 20 seconds.
- Skill cooldown has been decreased from 5 to 1 second.
- The Role Skill's charge level at the beginning of battle has been increased from level 1 to level 2.
- Second Wind:
- The amount of hit points restored has been decreased from 70 + 35/55/75% to 70 + 35/50/70%.
- Recon Flight:
- The Role Skill's charge level at the beginning of battle has been decreased from level 2 to level 1.
Other Changes:
- The Steppes and Safe Haven maps have been added.
- The Airfield map has been removed from the roster.
Stories
Visual improvements have been made to the Stories mode background.
Commendation System
The Commendation System has been added, allowing players to express their appreciation for their teammates' behavior during battles. The top players by damage caused, assisted, or blocked will be marked with live tags to highlight their contributions.

Vehicles
For many vehicles, the number of modules has been decreased, module upgrade paths have been streamlined, and stock configurations have been enhanced.
Researched modules removed from the affected vehicles are stored and can be mounted on other compatible vehicles.
XP from modules removed from the game is transferred to the Tier I vehicle of the same nation. Newly added gun modules must be loaded with ammo.
France

Kommandanten!
Der Öffentliche Test für Update 1.28.1 hat begonnen! Spielt auf überarbeiteten Karten, probiert die Jagdpanzer der vier neugewichteten Zweige des T110E4, des Objekt 268, des Jagdpanzer E 100 (bis zum Jagdtiger) und des Ho-Ri 3 aus, erlebt den brandneuen Modus „Neon Dash“ und mehr.
Alle Funktionen des Öffentlichen Tests befinden sich zurzeit aktiv in Entwicklung. Werte, Belohnungen, technische Eigenschaften und andere für den Öffentlichen Test relevante Einstellungen sind nicht final und können sich bis zur Veröffentlichung noch ändern.
Änderungen an Karten
Wir wollen die Schauplätze weiterhin überarbeiten, um euch eine noch spannendere und abwechslungsreichere Erfahrung zu bieten. Die Karte Ensk wurde für Gefechte auf hoher Stufe ausgeweitet, die Karte Flugplatz komplett überarbeitet und die Karten Paris und Minen mittelgroßen, bzw. kleineren Überarbeitungen unterzogen.
Ensk
Dieser Schauplatz ist bisher als kompakte Karte von 600×600 Meter Größe bekannt. Das macht auch einen Teil ihres Charmes aus, verursacht aber Probleme in Gefechten auf hoher Stufe. Problematisch ist etwa, dass die Fahrzeuge zu früh aufgeklärt werden, Hinterhalte nur schwer möglich sind und auch schnelle Fahrzeuge nur kaum glänzen können.
Daher haben wir für Gefechte, in denen die höchste Fahrzeugstufe VIII oder höher ist, eine erweiterte Version von Ensk entwickelt.
Die hochstufige Version der Karte Ensk heißt Region Ensk. Es ist eine Karte von 1000×1000 Metern Größe, auf der die Teams das Gefecht weiter voneinander entfernt beginnen.
- Im grünen Bereich wurde eine komplett neue Richtung hinzugefügt, auf der sich Schlüsselpositionen wie ein Hügel befinden, die viele Optionen zur Kontrolle der Karte bieten, sowie eine Insel im Fluss – ein gefährlicher Ort, der aber auch hohen Ertrag bringt und sich für Fahrzeuge mit guter Tarnung anbietet.
- Im Bahnhof in der Mitte der Region Ensk stehen weniger Züge, also könnt ihr in diesem Bereich die Flanke wechseln.
- Der Bereich für schwer gepanzerte Fahrzeuge bietet jetzt mehr Positionen und die Begegnungsdistanz wurde angehoben.
- Die neuen Bereiche hinter den Anfangsgebieten beider Teams bieten weitere Gelegenheiten für Verteidigungspositionen und Flankenangriffe.
Flugplatz
Diese Karte wurde sowohl im Aufbau als auch im visuellen Stil überarbeitet. Die Ruine einer Kreuzritter-Burg wurde hinzugefügt. Die Karte wurde um 100 Meter in Richtung des Meeres erweitert, hier wurde eine kleine Halbinsel hinzugefügt.
- Die riesige Höhle ist gut geeignet für stark gepanzerte Fahrzeuge, die hier gegeneinander antreten können, ohne von Artillerie oder Scharfschützenjagdpanzern belästigt zu werden.
- Die Dünen in der Kartenmitte bieten beweglichen Fahrzeugen genug Gelegenheiten für die Hull-Down-Taktik oder Sidescraping.
- An beiden Seiten der Karte befinden sich Positionen für Scharfschützen, die eine begrenzte Kontrolle über die Basis und das Vorrücken des Gegners erlauben.
- Entlang des gesamten Mittelteils der Karte wurden neue Positionen und Gelegenheiten für das Spiel mit schnellen Fahrzeugen hinzugefügt.
Paris
Der grüne Bereich wurde überarbeitet, es wurden weitere Positionen und Gelegenheiten für alle Fahrzeugtypen hinzugefügt. Dazu gibt es neue Zufahrten und neue Deckung nahe des Säulengangs.
Minen
Es ist dem südlichen Team jetzt schwerer, den zentralen Hügel von der südwestlichen Insel aus unter Beschuss zu nehmen. Dazu gibt es von der Seite des nördlichen Teams aus nahe der Mitte ein neues „Fenster“ in Richtung des Wassers.
Rebalancing der Fahrzeuge
Wir verfolgen weiterhin die Gefechtsstatistiken und arbeiten an der Balance der Fahrzeuge, indem wir stetig ganze Zweige eingehend untersuchen. Wie immer haben wir einige Werte bei Fahrzeugen angepasst, die zu viel oder zu wenig Leistung gebracht haben. Wir haben die Anzahl der Module angepasst, die Aufwertung von Modulen einfacher gestaltet und die Standardkonfiguration für viele der überarbeiteten Fahrzeuge in den angepassten Zweigen verbessert.
Diesmal betreffen die Änderungen vier Zweige mit Jagdpanzern.

T110E4 (Stufen VI–X): Verbesserte Rückwärtsgeschwindigkeit, Stabilisierung, Zielerfassung und Manövrierfähigkeit.
- Zweig des
X
Objekt 268 (Stufen II–X): Verbesserte Streuung, Zielerfassung, Beweglichkeit und (für Stufe X) maximale Geschützneigung.
- Zweig des Jagdpanzer E 100 bis zum
IX
Jagdtiger (Stufen IV–IX, keine Änderung bei Stufe X): Verbesserte Streuung, Zielerfassung, Beweglichkeit und Manövrierfähigkeit (abhängig vom Fahrzeug).

X
Ho-Ri 3 (Stufen V–X): Geringfügig verbesserte Streuung, verringerte Höchstgeschwindigkeit rückwärts und Sichtweite (für Stufe IX und X; nicht so stark, dass sich die Spielweise des Fahrzeugs dadurch ändern würde).
In den Patchnotes des Öffentlichen Tests findet ihr alle im Zuge des Rebalancings der Fahrzeuge vorgenommenen Änderungen.
Arcade-Automat: Neon Dash
Neon Dash ist ein brandneuer, unterhaltsamer Modus im Arcade-Automaten, ein Rennen über eine futuristische Strecke voller stationärer und bewegter Hindernisse, das Fahrzeugen aller Stufen frei steht. Bis zu 30 Spieler treten an, nur einer kann gewinnen.
In Neon Dash verschießt ihr Impulse statt Granaten. Diese Impulse richten keinen Schaden an, können eure Gegner aber verlangsamen oder aus der Bahn werfen. Dazu könnt ihr Fähigkeiten wie Schild (Schutz vor Impulsen) und Sprint (selbsterklärend) nutzen, habt unbegrenzte Wiedereinstiegsmöglichkeiten ab dem letzten passierten Kontrollpunkt und könnt einen Notteleport zu diesen Kontrollpunkten einsetzen.
Der Modus ist purer Spaß, es gibt hier keine Einnahmen, aber auch keine Kosten. Dafür gibt es in Neon Dash Spezialaufträge und einen Fortschritt, den ihr zweimal abschließen könnt, einmal in jedem Durchgang.
Wenn dein Fahrzeug auf der Strecke stecken bleibt, drücke J: Du wirst am letzten Kontrollpunkt wieder erscheinen!
Belobigungssystem
Mit dem brandneuen Belobigungssystem könnt ihr euren Teammitgliedern ein Lob für heldenhafte Taten, lustige Momente, nettes Verhalten oder ähnliche Aktionen verleihen. Teammitglieder, die sich besonders hervorgetan haben (durch verursachten Schaden, ermöglichten Schaden oder abgewehrten Schaden) werden entsprechend gekennzeichnet.
- Ihr könnt Teammitgliedern über das Teamfeld (Strg und rechter Mausklick auf den Spieler) oder über die Teamliste (Tab) im Gefecht Belobigungen verleihen.
- Wenn ihr eine Belobigung von einem anderen Spieler erhaltet, werdet ihr über eine Benachrichtigung links unter dem Fadenkreuz darüber informiert. Ihr könnt dann direkt eine Belobigung zurückschicken (indem ihr Tab drückt). Diese Benachrichtigungen könnt ihr in den Spieleinstellungen deaktivieren.
- In der Übersicht nach dem Gefecht wird eine Zusammenfassung aller erhaltenen Belobigungen angezeigt.
Ansturm
Der Modus „Ansturm“ kehrt mit der dritten und letzten Saison im Jahr des Mantikors zurück, der Saison des grünen Mantikors. Nach Ende dieser Saison könnt ihr euch eure Jahresbelohnung abholen, in der der Stinger wartet, ein Fahrzeug mit den Werten des T57 Heavy Tank und einem eigenen Aussehen.
- Die Kartenauswahl wird um die Karten Steppen und Sicherer Hafen erweitert, die Karte Flugplatz wird entfernt.
- Einige Karten (Minen, Tundra und Live Oaks) wurden angepasst.
- Rollenfertigkeiten wurden modifiziert, Kopfgeldjäger und Sauberer Schuss sind jetzt stärker, Fingerfertigkeit, Neuer Aufschwung und Aufklärungsflug wurden abgeschwächt.

- Anforderungen: Ihr benötigt das Wargaming.net Game Center (WGC), den aktuellen Testclient des Öffentlichen Tests und ein aktives Konto für World of Tanks. Der Fortschritt eures Spielkontos wurde mit dem Stand des 2025-03-17 um 22:00:00 Uhr (UTC) auf den Server für den Öffentlichen Test übertragen. Änderungen nach diesem Zeitpunkt sind nicht berücksichtigt.
- Installieren des Testclients:
- Startet das Installationsprogramm und wählt einen anderen Ordner als den für eure regulären Spieldateien.
- Wählt den Testclient im Auswahlmenü des WGC aus.
- Sofort einsteigen: Testet die neuen Funktionen mit zusätzlichen Ressourcen. Euer Feedback ist wichtig!
