I
First Act
2010–2011
Just two nations, vehicles stuck to the ground, the first Maus and IS-7 tanks—these were the first steps of the game. The idea of abandoning an elven MMO in favor of steel beasts gave birth to one of the most important video games in the modern industry.
II
Second Act
2012–2013
National voiceovers were included into the game while the American T30 heavy tank was transformed into a Tier IX tank destroyer. The first Assault and Encounter Battles were waged, and thanks to new game physics, tanks could get off the ground.
III
Third Act
2014–2015
Stronghold was finally introduced for clans. The game was divided into SD and HD versions. The most determined players fought hard in Domination and Steel Hunt modes to get the famed T-22 med. Demonic heavy tanks settled in a remote Japanese village.
IV
Forth Act
2016–2017
Back then, the process of reworking vehicles into HD became established, SPGs got the ability to stun enemies, and the game grew sufficient for 60 players to fight one another on a map in Grand Battles. Tank Company and the Waffenträger auf E 100 were removed.
V
The Fifth Act
2018–2020
A new graphics engine, new music, Frontline, Steel Hunter, Italian and Polish vehicles, double-barreled tanks, 3D styles, French wheeled tanks, map blacklist... Who knows what's on the horizon?
