New and Improved Hunt Us Down

Over the last few months, Hunt Us Down has been one of our most popular contests.  Hundreds of Wargaming staff vehicles have been shot down on the battlefields or heroically defended earning players gold rewards.

We are pleased to announce that we have made some improvements to this contest and from this week onwards you can enjoy a much better Hunt Us Down experience.

Rules:

• First of all, Hunt Us Down will now be running throughout three whole days from August 7^th at 07:30 CEST (05:30 GMT) to August 9^th 23:59 CEST (21:59GMT).  That’s right; you can now meet our Wargaming tanks in battle any time throughout the day and evening.
• For this first session, there are no fixed sessions for certain tiers.  Vehicles of any and all tiers can now be found at any time.
• Finally, the rewards system has been fully automated.  Winners will no longer be published on the news as they will now be rewarded straight after the match by the system.  There is no need to take any screenshots.

Prizes:

A player who successfully destroys the Wargaming tank will receive 500 gold.  Team-killing is still against the rules – if you team-kill the Wargaming tank, not only will you win nothing, but you’ll get a caution and be flagged as a team killer as well! 

Please be aware that there is no longer a reward for defending the vehicle.  However, whilst the enemy team is busy hunting the tank, there could be an ideal opening to go out and capture the base or take down your enemy!

In order to help you identify the target, all Wargaming tanks will now be sporting a fashionable golden camouflage design.

As well as the gold camouflage, the Hunt Us Down vehicles will be part of the HUD1 clan and will be named 1WG_GOLD, 2WG_GOLD all the way up to 30WG_GOLD.  

In addition, their names will be marked on the battlescreen and team lists with a special symbol.

That’s it for the rules!  You could meet the golden tanks at any time simply by joining a random battle.
