Protecting Children in War – War Child’s Winter Appeal 2014

Wargaming is once again working with War Child, a charity that is dedicated to providing assistance to children in areas experiencing conflict and the aftermath of conflict.

At Wargaming, historical warfare forms the foundation of our titles, but unfortunately it’s still a stark reality for many, especially children whose lives and futures are in danger. We believe that it’s our duty to do something about it.

Last year, we partnered with War Child to create the “Charity Packages” sale that we held in the Premium Shop. We donated a percentage of the profits from our Gift Shop Offers, and thanks to your help, we were able to make a total donation of €100,000 to War Child UK!

At Wargaming, we believe that calling on you, our passionate players, can help drive real change and provide a lot of hope for just a little assistance, so we’re helping to spread the message about War Child’s Emergency Fund.

This year, War Child’s Emergency Fund has enabled them to respond to children in Gaza, the Central African Republic and Northern Iraq. They’ve set up safe spaces for the most vulnerable children; where they can play, learn and escape from the chaos in their lives.
